Quality Time

Not having power for two days has given us some quality time for reading.

I've been really productive--I've made Mother's Day cards and I'm covering book jackets with plastic. Perhaps tomorrow I can get back to sewing.

Heinz's mom scanned in this photo for us today. Alex definitely has his dad's body type! But Heinz's face is longer than Alex's. And I still contend that Alex has my eyes.

Bath time!

Alex is enjoying bath time a lot more lately. I used to fill his little tub up halfway and he would sit in the bottom of it. Then last week Heinz ran his bathwater and filled it up all the way. I was a little nervous about it being so full but it turns out that Alex is so fat that he completely floats! He realized how fun it was to float in the tub and now he loves to kick and splash during his bath.
