Jump Around!

Alex is really enjoying this jumperoo. We tried him in it more than a month ago, and he cried. Now he loves it. It's so fun to watch him jump! I'll try to post a video later.

I Have a Strange Kid

Alex was really tired tonight; he was rubbing his eyes at 6:30. Not long after putting him to bed I found him like this. I could hardly stop laughing. Is he trying to hide? Do we need to get him a sleeping mask? Or maybe he loves the feel of the satin on his face. Before anyone thinks I'm a bad Mom, this is a super thin blanket that is breathable. But he arranged it just so so that his mouth and nose are free.

Put Your Hands in the Air!

This is how Alex likes to sleep (until he can turn on his stomach): with his hands in the air and frog legs. He gets the hands in the air thing from his dad and Grandpa Dueffer. I guess he gets the blankie thing from his mom and Grandpa Haney.

Happy Mother's Day!

Today was my first Mother's Day! Since Heinz was sleeping all day, I drove up to Huntsville so my dad, step-mom, and Grandma could see Alex.





This was Grandma's 62nd Mother's Day! And the first one as a Great-Grandma.

p.s. I made the skirt I'm wearing. It looks better when I'm sitting down. It's a very full skirt and bunches out at the waist, which is not very attractive on a short person. It made me look even dumpier. So I've learned my lesson and next time I'm going to make a skirt that's more straight.
