Pear Sweater

Katie, my craft boss, gave me the pattern for this sweater after I found out I was expecting. I knitted most of it while I was pregnant, but I had a few things to finish. (Mostly just putting it all together, which is the tedious part.)

I finished it this afternoon. Alex wasn't very cooperative after his nap today, so I hope to do a better photoshoot soon. Plus there's a matching hat!

Riding the Subway

If Alex is not using his socks and shoes for any amount of time, he takes them off and throws them out of the stroller. We almost lost a shoe in Central Park that way!
He makes himself comfortable no matter where we are.

Messy Eater

We've had to take Alex's clothes off after every meal for the past couple of days. Yesterday he went through three shirts! I should just start hosing him off after every meal.

My First ABC at the Met

Friend Sara Jones gave Alex an ABC board book from the Metropolitan Museum of Art at his baby shower. We have read it every day. So one of our priorities while we were in NYC was to take Alex to see some of the paintings. It was exciting that he got the connection!

At Degas's dancer paintings, he says that he wants to see more.

New Kitchen Set

I just unloaded the dishwasher, and Alex didn't even notice! He normally comes running and wants to touch all of the dishes and silverware. He was too absorbed with his new kitchen set.
