We took Alex for his first ride in Grandpa's car. I admit I was a little nervous.
We even had an early birthday cake! (My family is very efficient and thoughtful.)
When Alex got up from his nap, he was excited that Grandpa was watching NASCAR. He had never seen it before, but he went right up to the TV and oooed.
Then we went to visit Great Grandma at the nursing home, where Alex entertained himself with a bucket of goldfish. The actual fish, not the crackers.
